Realme appears to be expanding its 16-series lineup with a new addition, the Realme 16T 5G. The company has already introduced models such as the Realme 16, Realme 16 Pro, and Realme 16 Pro+ in various markets. The latest development suggests that the Realme 16T could soon join this lineup, as it has now received a key certification.

Realme 16T 5G NBTC Certification Details

The Realme 16T 5G has been spotted on Thailand’s NBTC certification platform, indicating that its official launch may not be far off. The listing confirms the model number RMX5268, aligning with earlier leaks.

Prior to this, the device was reportedly identified by tipster Abhishek Yadav, who had revealed both its moniker and model number back in March. Around the same time, the smartphone also appeared on India’s BIS certification database, further hinting at a broader market rollout.

While the NBTC listing does not disclose detailed specifications, it does confirm the marketing name “Realme 16T 5G,” marking the first official confirmation of the device’s branding.

Expected Variants and Colour Options

According to earlier information shared by the tipster, the Realme 16T 5G is expected to be offered in multiple configurations, including:

  • 6GB RAM + 128GB storage
  • 8GB RAM + 128GB storage
  • 8GB RAM + 256GB storage

The handset is also said to arrive in colour options such as Starlight Red, Starlight Black, and Aurora Green. However, detailed specifications, including chipset, display, and camera features, remain undisclosed at this stage.

What to Expect

Realme’s previous strategy with the “T” series suggests that the Realme 16T could be positioned slightly below the standard Realme 16. For reference, the Realme 16 debuted in India with a starting price of Rs. 31,999. Based on this, the upcoming model could be priced under Rs. 30,000, targeting the competitive mid-range segment.

The Realme 16T 5G is expected to cater to users looking for a more affordable option within the 16-series lineup. Meanwhile, reports also indicate that Realme may be working on another device, the Realme P4R (RMX5266), which could share similarities with the 16T due to close model numbering.

With multiple certifications now in place, the official announcement of the Realme 16T 5G could happen in the coming weeks.
